Always choose a comprehensive travel insurance that includes a full medical cover with a no excess policy. Make sure all your medical expenses are covered in it.
Prior travelling to India, make sure you’re vaccinated against a number of diseases such as Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Cholera and Diphtheria. It is advisable to see your doctor at least six months before your trip to India. Discuss with your doctor about vaccinations you may require in advance since some vaccinations require a course and need to be spread out over a few months.
