Thiruvalluvar Statue is one the major points of interests in Kanyakumari. It is the statue of the most famous poet of Tamil, who was known for his contributions to Tamil literature. The height of the statue is 38 feet and is encircled by Alankara Mandapa and ten elephant statue. The site can be visited from 8 am to 4 pm all seven days of the week except public holiday.

Vivekananda Rock Memorial

Vivekananda Rock Memorial is an another popular place in Kanyakumari, which is dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, the great Indian monk of his times. It is most popular tourist destination not only for Indians but foreigners too.  The memorial hall is situated on two rocks. Vivekananda Rock Memorial Committee and Shri Eknath Ranade built it in 1970. The structure of Vivekanand rock memorial comprises of a Meditation Hall (Dhyana Mandapam), Assembly hall (Sabha Mandapam), a wooden statue of Swami Vivekananda in a standing posture, and a shrine or Sripada Mandapam.


Telescope House

Telescope house is an amazing man-made tower, from a where tourists can have a panoramic view of the seashore, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue and sunset and sunrise. The tower is equipped with a high-quality telescope. The visiting time of the tower is from 5 am to 7 pm.


Suchindram village

Suchindru village is a prestigious sacred site in Kanyakumari district, which is located at the distance of about 11 kilometers from the main Kanyakumari. The famous Thanumalayan Temple is also situated here. The Thanumalayan temple is the only temple in the region, which is dedicated to tridev (Three Hindu Deity): Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Brahma.  This temple was built in the 17th century having beautiful architecture.
